Through our services we hope to Embrace the emotional pain that comes with a cancer diagnosis, Equip survivors and their families with tools to cope with their pain, and Empower survivors to live fully restored lives after their battle and encourage them to give back through mentoring.
We provide support for every part of the journey – from the moment you are diagnosed, through treatment and recovery. Below are some of the ways we can help:
HANDLES WITH CARE This bag is full of items that we, as survivors, found helpful throughout our many individual journeys. As long as you're alive you're a survivor. It is our gift – at no cost to you. Please contact us if you'd like a bag. If you are interested in purchasing a Handles With Care for someone you know, visit our store.
COUNSELING Project31 offers financial scholarships for survivors as well as their families to attend professional counseling. Please contact us to inquire.
SUPPORT GROUPS For ladies who are interested in meeting with others who are experiencing similar challenges, we welcome you to join us at our monthly meetings. Regardless of your staging and diagnosis, you are welcome. We provide a community of support, celebration, education and learning through various guest speakers and activities.
We also have groups designed just for the husbands – with support and advice on not only standing by your wife through her journey, but how to cope with your own personal experience and feelings. For more information, visit our support group schedule.
