TRACY COTHRAN, Board President • Tracy is the Associate Vice President of Breast Health Network at OU Medical Center; her most recent role in a career dedicated to women’s health and specifically the early detection of breast cancer. Tracy’s mother is a breast cancer survivor, so the fight for a cure as well as support for women who have been diagnosed is especially close to her heart. She and her husband, Volney, have two daughters who keep them busy with singing, dancing and playing soccer.
DR. MELISSA CRAFT, Board Vice President • Dr. Melissa Craft is an oncology clinical nurse specialist with the University of Oklahoma College of Nursing. She has more than 30 years of experience in cancer-specific nursing and is the Director of the Doctor of Nursing Practice program. In addition to her teaching and administration duties, Melissa oversees a research program focused on assisting people who are facing critical life events such as cancer. Throughout her research and learning, she has developed effective ways for cancer patients to reduce fatigue, improve sleep and improve their quality of life. Her insight into the cancer patient’s specific needs and struggles provides a valuable component to the Project31 team.
FORREST BELINDO, Treasurer • Forrest is a certified public accountant (CPA). He’s also the caregiver to his wife, Heather, who is a metastatic breast cancer survivor. Together they have two children.
STEPHANIE KRENN, Secretary • Stephanie graduated with an Associates Degree NWOSU and Paralegal Certification from OSU. For the past nine years worked as a paralegal and victim restitution advocate for her area's District Attorney. Diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer in July 2015, endured 28 months of treatment including three surgeries. Now in remission, she, along with husband and kids, is grateful for recovery and the encouragement, support, and life changing friendships orchestrated by P31 during her journey and has a sincere passion to spread our message of restoration and hope to every survivor.
MARK PICKENS, Board Member • Mark is an Associate Professor of English at Mid America Christian University and teaches courses on literature, writing, and literary and cultural theory. He has degrees from Oklahoma City University and the University of Oklahoma. He and his wife Elizabeth, a bankruptcy attorney, are the parents of two boys, Simon and Tyler.
VICKI THORP, Board Member • Vicki is a business owner as well as a ministry-minded leader. Her experience, faith, and compassion for the broken make her a perfect fit for the Project31 team.
DR. MISTY WAYMAN, Board Member • Dr. Wayman is an OB-Gyn at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City.
